A Different Kind of Chat Experience

We all know the chat rules at DuckDice are something special; many of you come from other gambling sites that allow their chatrooms to become glorified troll-boxes in the name of the "wild-west" nature of cryptocurrency.

But we take pride in being a safer, cleaner, more supportive environment for all — regardless of background, gender, history, religion, or sexual orientation.

So what is expected of me as a DuckDice Community Member?

Well, mostly — be yourself. But be kind where you can, or mindful when you cannot.
We don't want to put up a big list of do's and don'ts, but we do want the chat environment to be a place where people can discuss their lives, the crypto markets, or even the smell of cheese — without worrying about trolls upsetting their day.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • We apply a strict filtering system that should not be bypassed under any circumstance.
Sure, some words may seem harmless or even silly, but the filter is a core part of maintaining a profanity-free, non-toxic space to hang out in while rolling those reds.

  • Having an issue with another user?
They’re annoying you? Won’t leave you alone?
Use the /ignore username command — it’s the most peaceful and effective way to carry on with your day.

Respect the Mods and the Balance

If a mod asks you to calm down, be less profane, or reduce the spam — just roll with it.
They don’t care about anything except keeping the chat pleasant for everyone. It’s never personal.

Feel like the mods are being too strict? Feel like you can’t enjoy yourself?

We’re genuinely sorry when it feels that way. But know that we’re constantly working to strike a balance between keeping things fun and relaxed while also limiting bad language and disruptive behavior.

Spread Positivity

Be helpful to one another — whether through kind words, rain, or anything else.
Positive actions are always noticed by the community and returned with love in kind.

Avoid sexism.
At DuckDice, we proudly have more women in chat than most crypto communities, precisely because we strive to create an inclusive environment for everyone.

Try to stay away from hot political or religious topics. These often go from lively debate to troll matches quickly, and it’s not worth it.

Help Us Help You

Keep the team aware of any bad behaviour, begging, scheming, scamming, so we can keep it safe for you and everyone.

What is expected of the DuckDice Staff and volunteers?

We always aim to provide a safe, friendly, and fun environment where you can enjoy crypto gambling.

We do this by:

  • Being polite and listening to your concerns;

  • Acting as a bridge between users and the admin team;

  • Passing on your suggestions, problems, and ideas.

We always try to help where we can.

Need to understand something? Need the right resources? Have a question?
We’re here to support you, not to do everything for you — but we’ll listen and assist when possible.

We're People Too

Staff and volunteers are human — we enjoy the chat too, even while we handle issues professionally.

We are not here to give out free money — most of us are also trying to win a little ourselves while keeping the community welcoming.

Serious Complaints

If you ever have a serious complaint about a staff member or volunteer, you can email:

support@duckdice.io

Complaints are always taken seriously — but please use this only when all other resolutions have failed.
A misunderstanding or one-time mute isn’t grounds for escalation.
However, systematic abuse of power absolutely is.
